Cafe Coupole

In 1959 Kiyoshi Saito dropped in to the Cafe Coupole while visiting Paris.
There he made the first sketches that would later lead to the creation of the collagraph, “Cafe Coupole.”

Kiyoshi Saito Museum’s Cafe Coupole is particular about the coffee offered, just as Kiyoshi Saito was particular about the coffee he drank. During golden week and the weekends in autumn, a roasting meister will be present to prepare different coffee weekly and offer new flavors and roasts each time .
